Dallas Crow has published poetry, fiction, and nonfiction in a wide range of periodicals, including Aethlon: The Journal of Sports Literature, Arion: A Journal of Humanities and Classics, English Journal, The Flyfish Journal, Great River Review, Marathon & Beyond, Poet Lore, and Tar River Poetry. His poetry chapbook, Small, Imperfect Paradise, was published by Parallel Press. He is deep into his second decade of teaching high school English at Breck School.
The founder and director of the Minnesota branch of the Alzheimer’s Poetry Project, Zoë Bird has worked with the APP for eleven years, creating original, collaborative poetry with thousands of elders and their community members. Bird’s poems have appeared in numerous art installations and multimedia collaborations as well as journals, and she has performed with artists of all stripes, including Butoh dancers, ceramicists, and harmonium players.
The 2017 Reading Series is co-curated by writers Margaret Hasse and Clarence White and is funded in partnership with the Anoka County Library. The event is free and open to the public.
