Eating Poetry: Poems About Food

Rustic Pine Needle Baskets for Beginners

You will create a mug mat or small bowl using Minnesota grown Red Pine needles (Norway Pines). You will learn the basic technique of the sewn coil method, and all the steps along the way, from the preparation of the needles to the finishing edge stitch on your mat or bowl.

Northern Lights Acrylic Pour

Pour painting is an innovative way to use acrylic paint to create an art piece. In this class you will learn the process of mixing acrylic paints with other materials to give it a more fluid consistency so that it can be poured directly onto a canvas. We will be adding details to our pour to make it look like a snowy night with Northern Lights in the sky. An 8 x 10 canvas and all the supplies for the pour are included. Please bring a box or tray to bring your canvas home in.
