Interested in Exhibiting at Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts
Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts (BLCA) is pleased to offer opportunities for artists to exhibit their artwork within the historically significant Art Center building. Intimate, carefully lit gallery space allows for respectful and enjoyable public viewing. BLCA is proud to serve as a significant source for accessible, quality arts experiences in the immediate geographic neighborhood, the larger Twin Cities metro area and beyond.
BLCA offers exhibiting artists support in presenting their art work, including all marketing and promotion efforts, installation needs, gallery staffing, and hosting a reception. The work of emerging and established artists and artist groups is selected by a committee of artists, arts enthusiasts, and curators who are connected to the north metro community. The committee is especially interested in proposals from artists who have considered the Banfill community and environment. While solo shows are sometimes offered, they are rare and more often artists are paired to present a cohesive two-person show.
Proposals for 2018-2019 exhibitions is now closed. Check back in January 2018 for more details on the next call for proposals.
