Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts  will be exhibiting over 650 artworks by area kindergarten through twelfth grade students. The 2017 Student Art Show will open on February 11 and be on view through March 4 and is made possible through the generous sponsorship from the Fridley-Columbia Heights Rotary Club. This is the second year of this sponsorship. Two receptions will be held to celebrate the exhibit on February 11 and 18 from 10 AM to 4 PM. Admission to the show is free and the public is welcome. The galleries are open 10 am to 4 pm, Tuesday through Saturday.

The 16 participating schools include: Anoka-Hennepin Regional High School, Calvin Christian School, Columbia Academy, Fridley High School, Hayes Elementary, Heritage Homeschool Academy, Highland Elementary, Legacy Christian Academy, Lincoln Elementary School for the Arts, Mississippi Elementary, Morris Bye Elementary, North Park Elementary, Northdale Middle School, Ramsey Elementary, Valley View Elementary, Westwood Middle School.
