Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts 2019 Student Art Exhibition will be on view through March 9. The exhibition displays over 500 artworks by area kindergarten through twelfth grade students. Stop by and enjoy this exciting exhibition of so many great student artists! The exhibition is free to view and open to the public.
The Student Art Exhibition has had a long tradition in the community. Often the art center sees students of the past exhibitions returning with their kids to see the next generation of creativity.
Stephanie Nowak, a Columbia Academy teacher, said, “It’s my favorite show to put my students work in because it is a true gallery in the local area that offers a real life experience for them.”
Sponsorship plays a vital role in the Student Art Exhibition. Mr. Ebeling said, “We are grateful for our partnership with the Fridley-Columbia Heights Rotary. We really appreciate all they do for the youth and our community.” The exhibition is sponsored by the Fridley – Columbia Heights Rotary Club.
