Banfill-Locke Hires New Executive Director

We are pleased to announce our new Executive Director, Abby Kosberg!

Abby recently relocated to the twin cities from Athens, Georgia. Her background is in art history and curatorial work and her passion for art accessibility through education, exhibitions, and public art projects is what has lead her to her current position at the BLCA. She has worked at a host of arts organizations including museums, nonprofits, and commercial galleries such as the Georgia Museum of Art in Athens, GA, Rebecca Hossack Art Galleries in London, and the Wriston Art Center in Appleton, WI. Most recently she served as the Gallery and Education Director at the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation in Watkinsville, Georgia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Art History, Studio Art, and German from Lawrence University, and her Master’s in Art History from the University of Georgia.
