Banfill-Locke Center for the Arts depends on volunteers to help in a variety of ways!
Board Members – Seeking enthusiastic business professionals to apply their knowledge and skills to help meet our mission. This role serves 2-year term with the duties of attending monthly board meetings, assist with governing the organization, helping with fundraising and attending our mission centered events throughout the year.
Guest Services Volunteers – welcome guests and provide information about the exhibition and BLCA, assist with gift shop purchases, register individuals for classes, and answer the phone. Training and support is provided for this position.
Special Events Volunteers – assist with exhibitions, Family Art Sundays, Art at Rice Creek, and other events throughout the year.
Office Volunteers – help with a variety of tasks, including mailings, data entry and filing. Volunteers can work weekly, monthly, or as needed and volunteer tasks can be tailored to meet your schedule and interests.
Volunteer Gardeners – commit to care and upkeep of a portion of the BLCA gardens and work independently to keep them looking beautiful.
